new baby set: blanket, matching hats and shoes

Crochet Rain Stitch - never heard of it until I saw it on Pinterest. Easiest pattern every for a blanket. First step is to pick 3 bright colors and an accent color for the border (4 total, including 1 varigated for the drop/rain stitch).

BLANKET: Double crochet for two rows Row three: using varigated, 2 single crochet and then 1 DROP (lengthweise for 1 entire row) repeat throughout

Next two rows a different color. Repeat 3rd row with drop.

TRIM: double crochet the accent color

HATS: using a loom - use two colors - follow directions on the loom
